Volvo Financial Services Wins IDG Enterprise’s 2018 Digital Edge 50 Award for Work on Digital Transformation

It’s always a thrill to see your customers recognized for their successes and share some of the business value they’ve achieved as a result.

Last week Volvo Financial Services (VFS) picked up the IDG Enterprise 2018 Digital Edge 50 Award for its work on digital transformation. VFS won the award after deploying Capriza for mobile customer quoting and approvals, which provide financing quotes to truck customers in select markets across the globe and creates localized applications for the originations process.

As you can imagine, VFS operates in a highly competitive market with lots of alternatives. Prior to adopting Capriza, approving financing terms for a prospect could take days, which had an impact on their ability to close deals and remain competitive. With Capriza, they are now able to significantly reduce approval times down to a matter of hours and win more business as a result.

The apps provide various services, including quotes based on VFS interest rates, a queue manager for viewing deals which need processing and a price authorization tool to speed up internal processes,” said Fiona Daniells, solution portfolio manager for VFS. “The apps look and work the same across regions and markets, and the price authorization tool resulted in a 43% increase in decisioning speed in Europe within the first few months it was implemented.

At VFS, we strive to be fast and easy to do business with, and to provide an exceptional experience for our customers throughout the finance lifecycle,” said Adrian Samareanu, chief digital and information officer for Volvo Financial Services. “We are honored that our new platform and apps are being recognized, especially since they represent our efforts to continuously drive customer loyalty and innovation. We are the only captive finance company on IDG Enterprise’s list of innovative companies to receive the award, and we’re proud of this project and of the team behind it.
